How to use your printable mood tracker

    1. Choose your colours first. Colour each box in the key before the month starts, so every day uses the same colour for the same mood.
    2. Colour one circle each evening. Think about the day as a whole, not just the last hour. If two moods are true, split the circle.
    3. Leave missed days blank. Guessing later makes the month less true. A blank is fine.
    4. Look back at the end of the month. Use the notes lines for what you noticed: what came before your better days, and what wore you down.

Printing in black and white? Use shading instead of colour: solid, stripes, dots, an outline, or a letter in the circle.

Want to get more out of the month? Our guide on how to track your mood and read it back shows what to look for, and if you enjoy colouring in, a year in pixels does the same thing for the whole year.

Nothing you choose here is saved or sent anywhere. This tracker is for noticing patterns, not for diagnosing anything. If heavy days keep stacking up, please talk to someone you trust, or to a doctor or counsellor.
